Counter Foundries' recent release CF Caption offers an elegant geometric and understated appearance. Created originally as a simple no-fuss display it's glyph count has grown into something more versatile. It's strength is to communicate without the overpowering personality. Inspired by the striking graphic work of artists Barbara Kruger, Shepard Fairey and the art direction from John Carpenter's 'They Live'. The seven weights plus italics catch attention if desired whilst doubling down as a functional body text. It has a wide range of open-type features including many stylistic and contextual alternates for multiple glyphs, numerals and so on.
